IT'S THAT TIME AGAIN (based on FOUR)

Originally recorded on the 1954 Miles Davis Quartet album with Max Roach, John Lewis, and Percy Heath, Miles Davis' mid-60s band recorded it again on the quintessential modern jazz classic, "Four & More," with Herbie Hancock, Ron Carter, Tony Williams and George Coleman. A staple of jam sessions ever since, "Four" is an essential piece for every jazz musician. For vocalists, Jon Hendricks' monumental 1958 version with his own lyrics is considered one of the greatest vocal adaptions in jazz.
